​​Kittitas County is providing notice of a 30-day comment period for a nonproject State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Checklist for its 2026 Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Periodic Update.

​Kittitas County is proposing updates to its Comprehensive Plan and associated Development Regulations as required under the Washington Growth Management Act (GMA). The updates include revisions to plan goals, policies, and implementing regulations to address population growth, land use, housing, transportation, capital facilities, utilities, economic development, climate change and resiliency, and other required GMA elements. The proposal is a nonproject action and does not authorize specific development.

Written comments on this SEPA review will be accepted during the comment period established for the Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulation update (March 26 - April 27, 2026). Comments may be submitted in the following ways:
